What is prayer?
The most basic definition of prayer is “talking to God.” Prayer is not meditation or passive reflection; it is direct address to God. It is the communication of the human soul with the Lord who created the soul. Prayer is the primary way for the believer in Jesus Christ to communicate his emotions and desires with God and to fellowship with God..
What must I do to be save?
Romans 10:9
“If you confess with your mouth ‘Jesus is Lord’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”
You can pray something like:
“Lord Jesus, I know I’m a sinner. I believe You died for me and rose again. I place my trust in You alone. Forgive me, change me, and be the Lord of my life. I receive Your gift of salvation. Amen.”
How do I receive the Holy Spirit
“Repent and be baptized… in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”
And in Ephesians 1:13:
“When you believed, you were marked in Him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit.”
The moment a person truly trusts in Jesus — the Holy Spirit comes to live inside them. He seals you. He marks you as God’s own.
So first:
Repent (turn from sin)
Believe in Jesus
Receive Him by faith
The Spirit comes with salvation.
What was the finish work at the cross?
The Debt of Sin Was Paid in Full
In John 19:30, Jesus said: “It is finished.”
The Greek word is Tetelestai — which means “paid in full.”
And Colossians 2:14 says:
He canceled the record of the charges against us… nailing it to the cross.
Your sin debt — past, present, and future — was fully paid.
Nothing left owed.
What do I do now that I am save?
Now you:
-
Walk with God
-
Learn His Word
-
Obey step by step
-
Let Him shape you
-
Trust the finished work
Don’t overcomplicate it.
You don’t maintain salvation.
You grow in it.
